Children with Special Healthcare Needs, North Georgia Health District 1-2

– Children’s Medical Services (CMS) provides care coordination and specialty medical services for ages 0-21yr with eligible chronic medical conditions.
– Babies Cant’ Wait (BCW) program provides assessments and early intervention services to improve developmental potentials for ages 0-3yr with developmental delay or eligible medical conditions.
– Children First is the entry point for public health services for ages 0-5yr and facilitates early identification and linkage to services and resources.
– Early Hearing Detection & Intervention (EDHI) for newborn hearing screening and linkage to intervention if baby is diagnosed with a hearing loss.

This is a non-profit organization which provides cancer education on prevention, screenings, early detection, research and survivorship programs to the communities in the region.
